Oreganos, Phantom and Fun...

So way back when we purchased tickets for "Phantom of the Opera". Originally we got three, Brandon loves Phantom so for sure he was in. (I know he tries to pretend he's Mr. Tough Guy) Ashtyn, was in and Seth really wanted in. I had seen it several years ago so decided Seth would take my ticket. Lucky for me Trisha had tickets for Chad and Justin and they had a deer hunt. We decided we would take the extra 2 tickets. Liv was begging to go. The seats weren't the high dollar price so we let her in.

Friday morning Kristen and I left early, like 5:30. We both had Dr. apt. We took Rhett and Jocelyn with us. The appointments were early so planned lunch and shopping. Lunch was good we went the Oregano's route. Rhett was still in his fun mode, they brought him his dough ball to play with and he thought it was his lunch and tried to eat it. I had been trying to get him to eat all morning with no luck. By then he was hungry. To keep him from eating the dough ball we made "dough Seales" out of it. Rhett and Seales (Dustin) are super tight. This kept him occupied until lunch came. At one time I made the mistake of trying to reshape the dough into something else and he about lost it. So Seales joined us for lunch.

"Dough Seales" doesn't he look happy to be at Oregano's!

Rhett loved the spegetti... He ate it so fast it gave him a stomach ache. He hid under the table saying his belly hurt.

Next stop Macy's...I was real excited because we were in Paridise Valley and Kristen had been telling me how the Macy's there was great. They had higher end stuff on sale. Unfortunately, shortly after our arrival "fun Rhett" left us. Well, he was still having fun, as he litterally rolled all around the floor of Macy's. You would have thought we were at the EAC Fine Arts Auditrium. I could feel the stare's from all the "high end" women shopping. We tried to hold out and have our moment, but finally gave in. We had to go, too sad.

Brandon and Dustin were driving up with the rest of the kids. We decided to hit up Golf Land, which the kids enjoyed. We were staying with Craig and Melanie, and met up with them at "In n Out". Brandon's first experience, he was a huge fan. The kids had a blast with their kids. So much so that Liv didn't want to go to Phantom anymore, she wanted to stay at their house. They were babysitting the 2 little ones. I told her unless we could sell her ticket she was stuck. We couldn't so she went. Seth and Liv, not quite ready for Broadway. They did well, but visions of Craig and Melanie's were dancing through their heads. They tried to say they had more fun at Phantom. We all knew the truth. Right before intermission Liv fell asleep. As the chandlier fell people applauded Liv perked right up and didn't miss a beat. She did miss one of the best parts of the show though. Needless to say it was a quick, fun and somewhat expensive trip. Brandon says no more Broadway for awhile. (as we saw Wicked in July) Though he loved them, (Wicked more of course) he say's next time it's got to be the Suns or something sporty. We'll see. It may be awhile. At least until 2010 when Les Mes comes.

Golf Land... Liv is pouting because we let a couple "play through" I told her it was propper golf etiquet, she could care less. Rhett is trying to follow the example of his uncle Seales.

Rhett and Dustin, I swear when Dustin is 60 and Rhett is 30 they'll probably still be somewhere sitting like this. A real golf course though, no doubt. Poor Dustin can't get away from him.
